Everton boss Ancelotti provides updates on James Rodriguez, Coleman & more ahead of West Brom

Everton boss Ancelotti provides updates on James Rodriguez, Coleman & more ahead of West Brom

West Brom vs Everton

Everton are back in Premier League action on Thursday evening.

The Toffees face a trip to West Brom, as they look to make it three wins in a row.

The club’s previous outing saw them see off Southampton by a goal to nil on Monday.

This result saw Everton move level on points with 6th placed Liverpool, and just two adrift of 4th placed West Ham, both of whom the Merseysiders boast a game in hand on.

As a result, Carlo Ancelotti’s men remain well in the hunt for a Champions League place this term. So, a win over the Baggies is imperative to ensure they keep that challenge alive.

However, whilst West Brom sit 19th in the Premier League at present, their recent form has actually been decent.

Sam Allardyce’s side are unbeaten in their last three, drawing with Manchester United and Burnley, as well as picking up a win over Brighton.

During the presser, the Italian discussed a number of topics, including team news.

James, Rodriguez, Seamus Coleman and Tom Davies all missed out on Everton’s aforementioned win over Southampton on Monday, with what Ancelotti described as ‘little problems’:

And, speaking ahead of West Brom, the Toffees boss failed to confirm whether any of the players will be back in action versus West Brom, instead revealing that the trio, along with Robin Olsen, require post-training checks:
