Christian Eriksen was angry with Son Heung-min vs Chelsea

Christian Eriksen & Son Heung-min

After Tottenham’s win on Sunday at Chelsea, Son Heung-min was called out by a couple of his teammates.

Both Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli both expressed their frustration with the South Korean international for one critical moment against the Blues.

That moment was Tottenham’s third goal, scored by Alli.

Son was the creator for the goal, although the forward got very lucky.

Son had the opportunity to lay a pass off to either Erik Lamela or Dele Alli in the build up to the goal, but he failed to pick out one of the teammates.

Indeed Son almost lost the ball before it eventually ran to Alli who scored.

Eriksen called out Son’s mistake after the game:

He made it more difficult than it was. Of course, we scored, so it was relief, but if we didn’t score it would have been a big disappointment for Sonny not to pass it, but luckily Dele finished it off.

Dele Alli also echoed the Dane’s comment, saying:

I was complaining. I was a little bit annoyed that he didn’t, but Sonny is a player who is in really good form so when he goes through you’d back him to score. He kept it alive, and luckily it fell to me.

Dele Alli tells his critics to ‘shut up’

Dele Alli was the match-winner for Spurs with a second half double at Chelsea on Sunday.

Alvaro Morata opened for the the hosts, while Christian Eriksen levelled on the stroke of halftime with a stunning shot from distance.

After the game, Alli turned to social media to issue a ‘shut up’ message to his haters.

Alli had been under fire in recent weeks after he didn’t get on the pitch during England’s friendlies with Holland and Italy.
