England team-mates heap praise on Jadon Sancho after debut

After England’s 0-0 draw with Croatia on Friday, Jadon Sancho has been receiving mountains of praise from his England colleagues after making his England debut.

‘He’s been great in training and he has just got to keep working hard’

When speaking about Sancho, Harry Kane told Sky Sports:

“He’s great.

“Big congrats to him for his debut. I thought he came on and made an impact as well. He’s been great in training and he has just got to keep working hard and playing games and I’m sure he will have a very bright future.”

Eric Dier was also full of praise for the youngster, stating:

“I think he was fantastic when he came on.

“He was direct and technically he’s very gifted. Hopefully he can be a big part of England in the future if he keeps working hard.”

Jamie Carragher added:

“There wasn’t too much attacking excitement but it did seem to liven up a bit when Jadon came on. He provided that bit of trickery out wide, that freshness.”

Jadon Sancho assist king

Sancho is currently playing for German outfit Borussia Dortmund.

Sancho signed for Dortmund in August of 2017 for a fee of around £7 million from Manchester City.

Despite being just 18 years of age, Sancho has already managed to earn himself a regular spot in Dortmund’s squad.

Sancho has made an appearance in all seven of Dortmund’s league games this season.

In those seven league games, Sancho has earned an incredibly impressive seven assists.

This stat gets even more impressive when you realise Sancho came off the bench in six of those seven league games.

Sancho also earned an assist in the UCL  vs AS Monaco.
