England supporters call for one big change for Panama World Cup clash

Harry Kane secured England a dramatic, late three points in their World Cup opener against Tunisia as the Tottenham Hotspur forward netted twice.

England’s captain scored in stoppage time to finally break the resilience of the highest-ranked African nation at the tournament to move the Three Lions level with Belgium at the top of Group G.

Changes to be made?

The Three Lions headed to Russia with plenty of optimism surrounding Gareth Southgate’s selected squad and the players also delivered plenty of reasons to remain optimistic as they kicked off their World Cup campaign on Monday evening.

England took the lead through Kane who followed up John Stones’ parried shot – a goal which proved as a reward for their positive start to the game.

Instead of panicking though, England went about their business calmly and Southgate rolled the dice to bring on Ruben Loftus-Cheek for Dele Alli – a moment which proved to be key.

England supporters have now taken to Twitter following the performance of the Crystal Palace loanee to call for the midfielder to start versus Panama on Sunday.
