Liverpool star Emre Can has been important in the sides Champions League run but wants to avoid one situation in the last-8.
The German is looking for Champions League glory with his future likely to lie away from Anfield.
The player has been linked with moves to Juventus and other top clubs and will be looking to take his chance at Champions League glory.
Liverpool sealed their place in the quarter-finals after their draw with Porto on Tuesday evening.
The Reds won the game 5-0 on aggregate after an impressive first-leg display and are now seen as dark horses for a sixth European cup.
Though, Emre Can has explained that he and the side would like to avoid an English tie in the next round.
“I think you are wrong if you play a Champions League game and you don’t find motivation,” he said after the Porto clash.
“I think it was okay, we did our job and we are through the round. I prefer to not play an English team, but I don’t care who.”
Jordan Henderson, however, couldn’t care what side Liverpool will come up against in the next round.
“It doesn’t matter,” he told BT Sport.
“They are all big teams and good teams. Whoever you get, you’ve got to be prepared to go and win. So it doesn’t matter. We’ll be ready.
“This is the business end of the season. The next few months are very important for us as a team, we’ve got some big games coming up.
“We’ve got to keep going, keep working hard and put in performances like we have been – then the results will follow.”
