Liverpool midfielder Emre Can has given an update on his future at Anfield amid reports that he could join Juventus for free in the summer.
The German has so far not signed a new deal at the club with his current contract set to run out in the summer.
That leaves Liverpool scrambling to try and get the player to sign a new deal or risk losing him for nothing.
While Juventus are interested, there are reportedly several sides looking to sign the German star.
There is still the possibility of the player staying at Liverpool but the player has admitted that no decision will be made until the end of the season.
The player is fully focused on the Premier League and Champions League before making a decision over his future.
‘Of course, I have to think about my footballing future,’ Can is quoted as saying by the Liverpool Echo.
‘I haven’t signed for any other club, I’m just focused on this season. We want to finish in second place in the Premier League, we’re in the Champions League quarter-finals and we want to progress. That’s all I’m focused on now.
‘My agent has blocked all negotiations, I’m thinking only of football.’
On Liverpool’s chances of winning the Champions League, the player was pretty confident about their chances of making the final.
‘Let’s see who we will get in the quarter-finals,’ Can added.
‘We did our job and we are through the round. I prefer to not play an English team, but I don’t care who.
‘I don’t like to talk about the future but if we continue like that in this form, we can see ourselves in the final.’
