Hazard’s superb 2018/19 season

Eden Hazard has had a simply superb 2018/19 campaign for Chelsea.

In 37 league outings, he has scored 16 and assisted 15, and is a big part of why the Blues finished 3rd.

And Hazard’s impressive season has certainly not gone unnoticed. He managed a clean sweep of awards for Chelsea at their end of season ceremony, picking up Player of the Year, Player’s Player of the Year and the Goal of the Season award.

The Belgian was then presented with the Premier League 2018/19 Playmaker of the Year award for his 15 assists.

Chelsea to lose Hazard after Europa League final

After facing Leicester, Hazard claimed that he had made a decision about his Chelsea future.

Hazard has been heavily linked with a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid this season.

Now, according to French outlet L’Equipe, Madrid look set to finally land their man.

The newspaper is reporting that Los Blancos will officially announce Hazard’s signature after Chelsea’s Europa League final clash with Arsenal on May 29th.

The fee is said to be somewhere in the region of €100m.
