Chelsea star Eden Hazard has made it clear that the team’s success is down to one player, or even two, but that the whole team are working hard to get the best possible results.
Hazard has been brilliant in recent weeks, and his partnership with Alvaro Morata has made headlines, with the two impressing on the field and linking up in terms of goals, which are of course winning games for the Blues.
However, Hazard made it clear that the entire team have been vital – and the likes of Azpilicueta, who of course has been as useful to Morata as anyone this term – are all reasons for the goals and the points.
“It’s not just [Morata] and me, it’s the whole team,” he told Chelsea’s official website.
“When you play with [Cesc] Fabregas, Alonso on the left and [Davide] Zappacosta on the right you can feel the confidence. Everyone played with the ball and made great movement.”
Chelsea now feel they’re back in the title race, and it seems that Antonio Conte thinks the club need to win the rest of their games in order to catch Manchester City and finish above Manchester United as well.
After their win over West Brom, it seems as though the Blues are back on track after a period where they struggled, and with the Champions League coming up this week, they will know that three points is essential after the blips against Roma – and Conte will be aware that failure in the group stages of the competition is not an option – nor is missing out on the Champions League next season.
