Eden Hazard drops hint over Chelsea future

Leicester 0 – Chelsea 0

Chelsea’s Premier League season ended with a 0-0 draw at Leicester City on Sunday.

As a result, Chelsea finished the league in third spot above Tottenham.

Of course, Chelsea’s 2018-19 campaign isn’t over just yet.

The Pensioners have qualified for their second cup final, having lost the League Cup final to Man City back in February.

On May 25th, Chelsea take on Arsenal in the Europa League final in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Does Eden Hazard have a Chelsea future?

Maurizio Sarri took the decision to leave Eden Hazard on the bench for the match at Leicester.

In what may prove to be the Belgian’s final Premier League match, Hazard was only introduced in the second period.

Of course, rumours have been rife for months that Hazard could join Real Madrid in the summer.

After the Leicester game, without mentioning Real Madrid by name, Hazard suggested that his future lies away from Stamford Bridge. He said:

Yes, I have made my decision but it is not just about me. I have made my decision, that’s it.

When you are on the pitch, you try to be focused on the pitch with the ball. That’s it. When I am on the pitch I just try to do the best.

I am not thinking about this and this, my situation or the club’s situation. I just try to win games.
