Bournemouth vs Man City
After two games of the 2018/19 season, Bournemouth have earned four points.
While that sounds okay, the Cherries haven’t looked that great in their opening two ties, both of which came against newly-promoted sides.
Bournemouth will need to step their game up a bit this week, as they take on English champions Manchester City.
Man City are also on four points after two league outings, but one of those fixtures was against Spurs.
City also have a superb record against Bournemouth.
Since Bournemouth won promotion to the Premier League, they have lost all eight of their games vs the Citizens.
However, in his pre-match press conference on Friday, Eddie Howe stated that he thinks his side are getting closer.
EH: “The two games against #mcfc last season were pretty strong.

Lewis Cook injury update
Ahead of the Man City clash on Sunday, Howe also provided an injury update on Lewis Cook.
Cook made just 15 PL appearances last season, after suffering a Cruciate ligament rupture.
That same injury has resulted in the midfielder missing the Cherries’ opening two league ties of the new season.
While Howe confirmed that Cook will not be ready this weekend, the Bournemouth boss added that he is getting closer all the time:
“Lewis won’t be ready for this game but he’s getting closer all the time.
“He trained with us for the first time fully a couple of days ago and it will be a big boost for us when he comes back.
“ He needs more time with us, more time in training and more matches, but he’s getting closer.” As quoted by Bournemouth’s official website.
