Eddie Howe gives Bournemouth injury update before Everton

Everton vs Bournemouth

Bournemouth travel to Everton on Sunday as they look to put an end to their poor form.

The Cherries had an excellent start to the season and at one point looked like competing for 6th place.

However, their form has declined recently and Bournemouth now sit 12th in the Premier League.

But Eddie Howe’s side are still just four points off 7th place. So, as long as they start to pick up wins soon they could still finish in a European spot.

Luckily for Bournemouth, they are about to face a very out of form Everton side.

Marco Silva had a superb start to life as Everton boss and like Bournemouth, they looked to be competing for Europa League.

Everton’s form has been very poor of late though and they have lost four of their last five league matches.

Bournemouth injury update

Heading into the game, Eddie Howe has been speaking to the media about a number of topics.

One of which was if Bournemouth’s two new signings will feature on Sunday.

Howe stated that Nathaniel Clyne has settled in well, meaning he could feature vs Everton.

But Sunday’s game is likely to come too soon for Dominic Solanke who has been training alone.

“Nathaniel (Clyne) has settled in well. He’s trained very well and I was pleased with his performance last week.

“We haven’t seen Dominic in training just yet.”

Callum Wilson, Joshua King and Ryan Fraser are also all dealing with minor injuries with Wilson and Fraser looking more likely than King to feature this weekend.
