Howe gives injury update

Prior to taking on Brendan Rodgers’ side, Eddie Howe has provided an injury update on his squad.

Howe stated that Bournemouth don’t have anybody coming back from injury on Saturday. But he did give updates on Lewis Cook and Simon Francis:

“We don’t have anyone coming back from injury for the game. It’s difficult to say when Lewis (Cook) and Simon (Francis) will be back, but they’re getting closer.”

Howe also spoke about Charlie Daniels in his pre-match press conference.

Daniels is set to have knee surgery, and expected to be out for the remainder of the season, after being injured vs Man City.

When speaking about Daniels, Howe had this to say:

“It’s a huge blow for him and a huge blow for us, our thoughts are with him now. He’ll need supporting and this club really does support its players. He’ll come back from this I’m sure.”
