Disgraceful scenes as a Hibernian under-8 team are booed by adults ‘for the badge they wear’

Hibernian under-8 team are booed by parents

A video is going viral on Twitter this week following a football tournament in Scotland.

The video was uploaded onto the social network by Ruaridh Delaney, whose bio revealed that he’s a Community Football Coach for the Hibernian Community Foundation.

Last weekend, a group of eight-year-olds turned out at a “festival” wearing Hibs kits.

According to Ruaridh Delaney, these kids were targeted by boos from parents watching on “for the badge they wear on their strip”.

In fact, “coaches, players and parents” have all been shamed for targeting these kids in Hibernian uniforms.

Social media reaction

Ruaridh Delaney’s video have provoked plenty of follow up reports on Twitter.

According to one eye-witness, one adult was overheard saying these “young boys are f***ing hopeless, absolute s**t.”

Another father of one of the Hibernian kids said his son has only “spoken about the booing” after the event.

Liverpool’s Joe Gomez is as good as Raphael Varane & like West Ham’s greatest defender.
