Heading for Italy?
The French national team boss Didier Deschamps has given his opinion on a potential move for Anthony Martial, with Juventus lining up a move.
The French forward is not exactly a star man at Old Trafford since making his huge move from Monaco a couple of seasons back.
With that in mind and his contract running out at the end of next season, the rumour mill has been in full flow.
That is because there are suggestions that Italian giants Juventus are lining up a big move for the Frenchman this summer.
With reports claiming that the player is growing frustrated that he is not a key player, he could decide to cash in on a move at the end of the season.
Though, his international boss has urged the player to resolve his issues in the market ‘as soon as possible’ if he was to move.
While he admitted that, he also explained that he doesn’t think that will be the case with Martial.
“The players know it would be better if issues in the market were resolved as soon as possible, but I know that won’t be the case,” Deschamps told Tuttosport, as cited by the Mirror.
“Martial has a contract with United and the club don’t want to sell him. We’ll see if he’s looked at, by Juve or anyone else.
“I don’t give advice, I give my opinion. In the end, it’s up to the players to decide.”
