Dele Alli has withdrawn from the England squad after suffering a “minor muscle strain”, the FA have confirmed.
The 22-year-old picked up the injury during the Three Lions’ 2-1 defeat to Spain on Saturday.
No timescale on the injury has been provided ahead of Tottenham’s Premier League clash with Liverpool this weekend.

England have now been dealt another blow with Dele Alli suffering a “minor muscle strain” on Saturday evening.
The FA have confirmed that Spurs’ midfielder will not feature against Switerzland on Tuesday after withdrawing from the squad.
Leicester City duo Ben Chilwell and Demarai Gray have been named as late additions to Gareth Southgate’s squad.
Meanwhile, along with Alli, Luke Shaw has also withdrawn from the squad due to injury.

The Tottenham Hotspur star now faces a race to be ready to play Liverpool this Saturday.
Spurs host the Reds at Wembley looking to end Jurgen Klopp’s side’s perfect start to Premier League.
Liverpool have claimed 12 points from 12 and have conceded just once so far this season.
The following Tuesday, Tottenham take on Inter Milan at the San Siro to kick-off their Champions League campaign.
The FA have not offered any details on a recovery timescale of Alli’s injury.
