Tottenham Hotspur have provided updates on the fitness of both Eric Dier and Dele Alli.
The north London club take on bitter rivals Chelsea on Wednesday looking to bounce back from defeat at Burnley.
Both players missed Spurs’ previous outing due to injury and illness respectively.
Alli and Dier fitness updates ahead of Chelsea
Alli and Dier have both been ruled out Wednesday’s trip to Stamford Bridge.
Alli has been recovering from a hamstring injury and is continuing to complete his on-field rehabilitation.
On Alli, Pochettino told Alasdair Gold:
“Still I don’t know. We need to assess and we’re doing so day by Day.
“We can’t say if he will be available for Dortmund or Southampton. Sure not available for tomorrow, after we’ll see.”
The 22-year-old’s recovery is progressing well and physioroom.com expect him to return against Arsenal.
Meanwhile, Eric Dier is suffering from tonsillitis which will keep him sidelined for the London derby.

All eyes will be on Maurizio Sarri and Kepa Arrizabalaga on Wednesday following their on-field spat at Wembley.
The Spanish goalkeeper refused to be substituted during the Blues’ Carabao Cup final against Manchester City.
The Times expect Arrizabalaga to keep his place in the line-up against Spurs despite infuriating Sarri.
