Luciano Acosta is a 24-year-old Argentine attacking midfielder. He wears the number 10 shirt for DC United.

Signed from Boca Juniors, Acosta is under contract with DC United until December 31, 2019.
Luciano Acosta reacts to Manchester United transfer rumours
Man United’s scout picked a rough game to see Acosta in action.
DC United lost 4-0 to LAFC on Saturday in the MLS.
Acosta was subbed out the game in the 73rd minute for Quincy Amarikwa.
Nevertheless, the South American was aware that Man United had eyes on him during the match, and afterwards he commented on the Old Trafford rumours:
I’m obviously happy (Manchester United) was here—they came to see me, and obviously I just went out and tried my best.
Today wasn’t my day, we were up against a great opponent and in reality I’m just sad for the group’s performance today, and mine too.
PSG have also been linked to the playmaker.
Wayne Rooney sent off
Man United’s all-time record goalscorer, Wayne Rooney, also had a bad weekend for DC United.
Rooney was sent off during the heavy LAFC defeat.
Rooney was dismissed for a poorly timed lunging tackle. He could have few complaints with the decision.
