A key signing for West Ham and Moyes?
West Ham boss David Moyes has provided an update on a proposed move for Hull City forward Jarrod Bowen, with reports claiming that they’ve agreed a fee.
Moyes’ start as West Ham has been less than ideal.
Despite winning his first two games in charge of the Hammers, West Ham are currently winless in their last five across all competitions.
They were also recently knocked out of the FA Cup by West Brom, who were down to ten men for the final 20 minutes of the game.
Possibly West Ham’s biggest issue right now is in attack.
The Hammers have failed to score in three of their last five games, scoring just two in their remaining fixtures.
One player who could make a difference is Jarrod Bowen, and now, Moyes has provided an update on a potential move.

“We’re interested in him, but I can’t confirm whether the deal is done”
It was reported by The Athletic’s David Ornstein on deadline day that West Ham had agreed a deal with Hull for Bowen.
He claimed that a £22 million deal had been struck, with £14 million of the fee upfront, and a further £8 million in add-ons.

Following those reports, David Moyes was asked about Bowen in his pre-Brighton press conference.
The West Ham boss confirmed that talks are ongoing, but a deal is not yet done.
“We’re always interested in players who can score goals and make a difference,” he explained, quoted by the Athletic’s Roshane Thomas on Twitter.
“He (Bowen) can certainly do that. We’re interested in him, but I can’t confirm whether the deal is done.”
