David Moyes guides West Ham to club history with win over West Brom
Antonio decides it
Moyes’ men welcomed West Brom to the London Stadium a short time ago, for a Premier League clash.
The hosts headed into proceedings with their tails up, on the back of a 5-game unbeaten streak across all competitions, including wins in their last three.
And, when all was said and done in the capital this evening, West Ham kept their fine spell of form very much alive, courtesy of a 2-1 victory.
The game’s scoring was opened on the stroke of the interval, through Jarrod Bowen:

West Brom, though, to their credit, quickly fought back, levelling things up early in the 2nd-half via a wonderful strike from the in-form Matheus Pereira.
The hosts, however, were not to be denied, and soon regathered themselves, to bag an all-important 2nd through star man Michail Antonio 25 minutes from time:

Moyes’ record setters
Their latest win of course comes amid not just a recent spell of excellence on West Ham’s part, but an altogether remarkable season to this point.
The Irons now sit 7th in the Premier League table (level with 6th-placed Everton), having notched 9 wins and 5 draws from their opening 19 fixtures.
So impressive is this record, that, as outlined above, it has actually tonight seen David Moyes’ men make club history.
As revealed by statisticians OptaJoe, West Ham’s haul of 32 points at the halfway mark of the Premier League campaign is the highest tally which the Londoners have ever managed across their first 19 outings:
