West Ham vs Southampton
West Ham are set to play host to Southampton on Saturday afternoon.
The Hammers head into the clash on the back of a dismal run of results that has seen them slip into the relegation zone.
However, West Ham are currently just one point from safety, and if they play similarly to how they did vs high-flying Liverpool earlier this week, they probably stand a chance of getting something out of Saturday’s tie.
After an awful start to the campaign, Southampton turned their fortunes around, and are now up to 12th in the PL, 10 points clear of 18th placed West Ham.
But the Saints’ form has been somewhat inconsistent of late, perhaps because they feel they are no longer in a relegation scrap.

Prior to taking on Southampton, David Moyes held his latest press conference on Friday.
During the presser, Moyes would provide an update on West Ham’s Andriy Yarmolenko.
Yarmolenko has missed the London outfit’s last 10 league ties, after suffering an injury vs upcoming opponents Southampton earlier this season.
And whilst it doesn’t sound as though the 30-year-old will be featuring this weekend, Moyes did state that Yarmolenko is getting closer:
“Andriy played 60 minutes in a practice game the other day. He’s still feeling his thigh a little bit so he’s not joined in with the first team yet, but he’s getting closer.”
Moyes also provided an injury update on Jack Wilshere:
“Jack Wilshere has started doing some work on the grass after his operation, so they’re both getting back closer to fitness but, in the same breath, still a little bit away. I would hope he will play again this season. I would hope he will get himself fit enough and in a condition to do so, but I couldn’t guarantee that.”
