Danny Ings makes Liverpool return and everyone makes the same joke

Liverpool striker Danny Ings this evening made his return to first-team action for the club, following almost a year on the sidelines.

The Reds went head-to-head with Leicester City in a Carabao Cup matchup at the King Power stadium, with a positive first-half performance from Jurgen Klopp’s men followed by an aimless display following the interval.

Substitute Shinji Okazaki gave the home side the lead in the 65th minute, with an Islam Slimani stunner doubling the Foxes’ advantage 15 minutes later.

Liverpool’s attempts to pull a goal back saw Jurgen Klopp opt to introduce striker Danny Ings, who hadn’t made an appearance for the club since October of last year.

However, it was not the striker’s return that had people talking, but more so his questionable haircut.
