Danilo arrives for Juventus/Cancelo’s reported Man City number revealed

Danilo to Juventus

Manchester City full-back Danilo looks to have played his final game for the club.

The Brazilian arrived at the Manchester-based club from Real Madrid in 2017.

Danilo has played 60 games across all competitions for Man City, in which he has scored three and assisted four.

Danilo has also earned a plethora of trophies with City, including two Premier League titles.

However, Danilo now looks set for a move to Italian giants, Juventus.

Juve posted a video to their Twitter on Tuesday, August 6th, showing Danilo arriving in Italy ahead of a transfer.

Cancelo’s Man City number

The Danilo transfer looks to be linked with Manchester City signing Juventus full-back, Joao Cancelo.

The Manchester Evening News have explained the details of the two transfers.

The MEN claims that the two deals will be separate, but mean that City are getting Cancelo at a knocked down price of £27m.

The MEN continues by stating that Danilo is valued by City at £26m, making a total of £53m, which is the fee that Juve reportedly wanted for Cancelo.

With Man City looking set to sign Cancelo, he has reportedly already been allocated a shirt number.

According to RMC Sport journalist Johnny Séverin, the full-back will be handed the number 27 shirt.
