Daniel Sturridge & Liverpool
Daniel Sturridge was back on the scoresheet last weekend as Liverpool beat Huddersfield 3-0 at Anfield.
And the scoreline could have been greater had Mohamed Salah not missed a first half penalty.
All Liverpool’s goals came in the second half.
Daniel Sturridge scored his 100th club career goal to get the floodgates open. Roberto Firmino claimed the second from a Jame Milner assist.
And, Georginio Wijnaldum claimed number three with a cracking strike into the top corner.
Sturridge ditches Liverpool trademark
This week the Redmen TV have met up with Sturridge.
The Liverpool striker was asked about his goal celebration v Huddersfield.
Sturridge produced his trademark wavy arms dance after he found the target, but the striker admitted it was a bit forced.
He explained t hat James Milner convinced him to do the dance.
More importantly, Sturridge has confirmed he has a new goal celebration lined up.
