Dani Ceballos names Arsenal’s best player
When Arsenal signed Dani Ceballos on loan from Real Madrid, some had doubts over the deal.
While Ceballos was always a gifted player, Arsenal failed to secure an option to sign the Spaniard at the end of the deal.
Cynics suggested that if Ceballos started the season poorly, Unai Emery could look elsewhere with his midfield picks.
However, Ceballos has started the campaign brightly.
Although he’s yet to fully cement a starting place, Ceballos already has two assists this season.
On Thursday, the Real Madrid loanee has given a new interview with the Guardian.
Ceballos drew a comparison between Los Blancos and the Gunners, saying:
I’ve hardly noticed any difference in size between Real Madrid and Arsenal. And the fans are very passionate, they love the players.
Dani Ceballos: ‘I love the city, I love the Premier League and love Arsenal. I’ve hardly noticed any difference in size between Real Madrid and Arsenal. It’s much easier to adapt because the fans make you feel you’ve been at the club forever.’ By @sidlowe https://t.co/XspyEuT3mL

Ceballos also named Arsenal’s best player:
We’ve got a very good, compact side and the three up front really make the difference.
You can compare [Pierre-Emerick] Aubameyang to Cristiano [Ronaldo] when he was at Madrid in the sense that he plays close to the goal he lives for scoring. He’s very important for us, fundamental.
[Nicolas] Pépé is very direct. And [Alexandre] Lacazette, for me, is the best player: he understands the game perfectly and, if he’s 100%, he’s going to give us so much.

Arsenal failed to confirm specific details about the length of Willock’s new deal.
However, according to reports, the 20-year-old will remain under contract until 2023.
Joe Willock has signed his new contract. As I understand it the deal is through to the end of the 2022/23 season, a richly deserved extension after a superb start to the season. pic.twitter.com/Pt6J1YnNDt
