Crystal Palace vs Tottenham match preview

Crystal Palace currently sit 14th in the league but are just three points above the drop zone.

The biggest issue for Roy Hodgson’s side this season has been their lack of goals.

The Eagles have netted just eight goals all term.

Zaha’s dry spell in front of goal will have hindered Palace.

The Ivorian has failed to score in his last six appearances for the South London club.

Palace have proven to show an over-reliance and Spurs keeping him quiet on Saturday could prove key.

Tottenham prepare for a fifth game in 13 days

It’s been a congested period for Tottenham who are gearing up for their fifth game in 13 days.

Defeat to Manchester City almost a fortnight ago was followed by wins over West Ham United, Wolverhampton Wanderers and PSV Eindhoven.

Mauricio Pochettino has been forced to juggle with his squad having fielded 22 different players against West Ham and Wolves.

During midweek Harry Kane drew level with Jermain Defoe as the club’s all-time leading goal scorer in Europe.

The 25-year-old has looked fatigued this season but a potential return to form could provide Spurs with a huge boost.
