Crystal Palace vs Leicester 101 Great Goals’ prediction: Crystal Palace 1-3 Leicester

Last Friday evening, everyone once again was forced to take notice of Leicester City as they equalled the record for the largest Premier League win.

The Foxes thrashed Southampton 9-0 to move into third and establish themselves as a firm contender for Champions League qualification.

Whilst it’s unlikely Leicester will replicate their achievements from 2015 by winning the league, they are once again putting the rest of the league on red alert.

But Leicester have not been the only surprise package this season, as Crystal Palace also find themselves climbing the league table.

After fighting back at the Emirates to secure a 2-2 draw, the Eagles have swooped into sixth place (before the weekend’s matches) and Sunday’s clash has swiftly become one of real fascination.

Premier League preview: Crystal Palace vs Leicester

Currently in third place, just two points behind Manchester City and coming off the back of a record 9-0 win, the potential of this Leicester side this season is thoroughly intriguing.

Leicester’s current group of players clearly possess serious talent and after roughly 8 months in charge Brendan Rodgers is really tapping into that ability.

Leicester’s form throughout October has earned Rodgers a nomination for Manager of the Month, whilst Youri Tielemans and Jamie Vardy have been nominated for the Player of the Month award.

Their incredible 9-0 win over the Saints has really got their peers talking, but the Foxes have been producing fine displays over the course of the season.

Now, there is a real growing belief that they can be the team to crack the top six’s firm hold over the European qualifying spots.

Crystal Palace’s promising start

Palace too are a side who are refusing to be ignored this season with a number of impressive results having seen them rise into sixth place.

To go 2-0 down at the Emirates and come away with a point shows character and a belief in their ability, making them a side Leicester should really be wary of on Sunday.

Jordan Ayew was once again on target for the Eagles last weekend and, of course, along with Wilfried Zaha, he will be a man for the Foxes to keep a close eye on.
