Stan Collymore on Tottenham’s new stadium
In his weekly column in the Mirror, Stan Collymore has cast his eye over Tottenham’s move into their new stadium.
Spurs will play their first Premier League match in their new home next Wednesday.
Crystal Palace will be Tottenham’s first opponents in the new ground.
However prior to the Eagles match, Spurs will have held a couple of test events.
Last weekend the Tottenham U18 side beat Southampton 3-1 at the new facility.
Spurs legends will take on Inter Milan in a second high profile event this week.

Crystal Palace to upset Tottenham
Collymore has raved about the new Tottenham ground in his Mirror article.
Indeed, the pundit believes that the move may have a major impact on the performance of Mauricio Pochettino’s players:
Harry Kane might up his performance by 10 per cent in every game Spurs play there for the rest of the season. The same might go for several of his team-mates, too.
However Collymore has also noted that Crystal Palace will be excited to spoil the Spurs mood:
I’ve yet to meet a player who won’t want to play on a stage like that, and you can bet your life Wilfried Zaha and co will be upping their games when, provided all goes to plan, Crystal Palace are its first Premier League visitors next Wednesday night.
Palace will be desperate to put a dampener on Tottenham’s celebrations.
For the record, when the sides met earlier in the season at Selhurst Park, Tottenham won that league match 1-0.
However Palace beat Spurs in the 4th round of the FA Cup, winning 2-0.
