Crystal Palace have expressed an interest in signing Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, according to a number of reports in the English press.
On the move?
Despite the fact that Gunners boss Arsene Wenger recently insisted that Wilshere would remain at the Emirates next season, the English international has been heavily linked with both loan and permanent moves away from North London.
Premier League sides Newcastle United and Bournemouth (where Wilshere spent last season on loan) are said to maintain an interest in the 25-year-old, while Serie A outfits AC Milan, AS Roma and Sampdoria have also been linked.
And this evening, another English top-flight side have joined the growing queue of interested parties, in the form of Frank De Boer’s Crystal Palace.
The Eagles were actually beaten to the signing of Wilshere by Bournemouth last summer, but have reignited their interest in the gifted midfielder tonight, contacting Arsenal regarding the possibility of another temporary deal.
It remains to be seen whether the Gunners would be open to allowing Wilshere to leave the club on loan once again.
