Sections of Crystal Palace fans have taken to Twitter tonight to express concern over Aaron Wan-Bissaka, after the youngster missed England U21s’ clash with Latvia.
Latvia 1-2 England
Aidy Boothroyd’s men travelled to the Zemgale Olympic Center for an U21 European Championship qualifier earlier today.
In the end, the Young Lions emerged with a hard-fought 2-1 win.
Raivis Jurovskis gave the hosts an early lead, before Tammy Abraham levelled things shortly before the interval.
And Chelsea-owned Mason Mount completed the turnaround in the second-half, clinching 3 points for England with a winner 15 minutes from time.
‘Where is Wan-Bissaka?’
However, while it was a positive evening’s work for the Young Lions, one set of fans couldn’t help but worry about the exclusion of a particular player from not only Aidy Boothroyd’s starting XI, but his squad altogether.
The fanbase in question are Crystal Palace, with the missing man having been Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
20-year-old stopper Wan-Bissaka has impressed during the early weeks of the season with Palace, with the youngster having been expected to feature versus Latvia.
As such, with the Eagles’ starlet having not even featured on the bench this evening, some sections of the club’s supporters quickly took to Twitter to express their concern:

Aaron Wan-Bissaka has not been named in England’s U21 squad to face Latvia at 3pm.
Hopefully it’s not due to injury.

Palace’s road ahead
If Wan-Bissaka has picked up an injury, his potential absence could not come at a much worse time for Palace.
The capital outfit are set for an absolutely crucial run of fixtures over the coming weeks.
Following their clash with Huddersfield this weekend, the Eagles will take on Newcastle, Bournemouth and Wolves in the Premier League over the subsequent 2 weeks, as well as meeting West Brom in the 3rd-round of the League Cup.
