Wilfried Zaha & Crystal Palace
Every since the Daily Mail pulled an excellent quote from Wilfried Zaha, the paper have been pushing talk of the star’s possible Crystal Place exit.
Last weekend Zaha told the Mail that he has obvious Champions League ambitions.
That’s triggered a slew of transfer rumours. Arsenal and Tottenham have been linked to Zaha, while Palace reportedly have an 80 million pound price tag of the forward.
Forgotten in much of the reporting is Roy Hodgson’s statement after the win at Arsenal that Zaha is going nowhere.
For the record, Zaha is under contract at Crystal Palace until 2023.
"He is a very good player but the bottom line is this: he is a Crystal Palace player. He’s certainly happy at Crystal Palace, that was not the performance of a guy who wants to get away from his club. I would say quite the reverse."https://t.co/3Dfb44KSV2

Jack Grealish & Everton’s Ademola Lookman
The Mail return on Tuesday with a fresh Zaha transfer update.
Looking at the story from another angle, assuming Crystal Palace manage to get 80 million, the Mail consider who the Eagles could buy.
Two players are named: Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish and Everton’s Ademola Lookman.
Crystal Palace have identified Jack Grealish as one player capable of helping fill the attacking void if they lose Wilfried Zaha.
Aston Villa skipper Grealish, who also remains on Tottenham’s long list of targets, (is) in Palace’s sights.
The Mail don’t say how much Palace may have to pay to sign Grealish.
And will Grealish be available if Aston Villa win promotion to the Premier League?
Then there’s one line about Everton’s Lookman. The Mail claim:
One natural winger Palace also retain an interest in is long-term target, Everton’s Ademola Lookman, 21.
Lookman has been a bit-part player at Goodison Park this season, having been involved in 18 Premier League games.
He’s under contract at Everton under 2021.
