Cristiano Ronaldo’s nine trophies in 372 days

It’s been a crazy 13 months for Cristiano Ronaldo

2016-17 was an incredible year for Cristiano Ronaldo.

Now 32-years-old, the last 13 months have arguably been the best period during Ronaldo’s unbelievable career.

Last season Ronaldo scored an incredible 42 goals for Real Madrid in all competitions, while he scored 54 goals in 59 games for club and country combined.

And not only has Ronaldo been prolific in front of goal, he’s also scooped up a staggering nine trophies in recent times.

The nine trophies

Ronaldo’s incredible 13 months started on May 28, 2016, when he scored the winning penalty against Atletico Madrid to lift the Champions League trophy in MIlan.

Last summer Ronaldo helped Portugal win their first major international honour as they triumphed at Euro 2016, lifting the trophy on July 10, 2016.

In August 2016 the individual accolades started to flow as Cristiano was named UEFA’s best player in Europe.

Ronaldo’s clean sweep of the individual awards continued in December when he won the Ballon d’Or for a fourth time.

Happy man 😀

December also saw Ronaldo win the Club World Cup with Real Madrid after they beat Kashima Antlers in the final.

January started with another individual award as Ronaldo was named FIFA’s Best male player.

In March, in something of a formality, Ronaldo was named Portugal’s player of the year.

Two weeks ago Ronaldo was crowned a La Liga champions, while on Saturday night he claimed his 9th trophy in 13 months lifting the Champions League.

Ronaldo’s trophy cabinet could swell even further in 2017, as Portugal compete in the Confederations Cup, while Real will face Man United in the UEFA SuperCup.

Ronaldo is also seemingly a shoo-in for all the individual awards once again this year.

4 times in the row 👌
