Juventus & Cristiano Ronaldo
Cristiano Ronaldo joined Juventus to help the Bianconeri win the Champions League.
That failed to materialise this season as Juve were knocked out the competition by Ajax.
However, it’s hard to argue that Ronaldo hasn’t been a success in Serie A.
Juventus have won their eighth-straight Scudetto and Cristiano has been the main man.
So far this season, Ronaldo has scored 21 goals and chipped in with 8 assists.

Cristiano Ronaldo: Serie A’s 2018-19 MVP
Prior to Sunday’s match in Turin between Juventus and Atalanta, it’s been announced that Cristiano Ronaldo has won the Serie A 2018-19 MVP award.
Ronaldo will receive his prize before kick-off on the penultimate day of the season.
Cristiano has won similar prizes during his time with Man United in the Premier League and with Real Madrid in La Liga.
Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly named ‘best defender’
Senegalese international Kalidou Koulibaly is a player who is often linked with a possible move to the Premier League.
Koulibaly has made 34 appearances this season, keeping 13 clean sheets in the league.
Any suitors for Koulibaly will have to pay top dollar. He’s under contract at Napoli until 2023.
Koulibaly’s price-tag may have gone up even more over the weekend, as he was named Serie A’s best defender.
Best defender in @SerieA 2018/19: a title that makes me proud. A great satisfaction to share with my teammates, coach, club and supporters: thanks to everyone 💪🏿

The other Serie A winners
Inter Milan’s Samir Handanovic has been named the Serie A goalie of the year.
Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic picked up the midfielder of the year award.
Sampdoria’s evergreen Fabio Quagliarella won the striker of the year award.
And Roma’s Nicolo Zaniolo was named the young player of the year.
Ronaldo to be given the new Serie A MVP award before Juventus’ game against Atalanta. Handanovic best GK, Koulibaly best defender, Milinkovic Savic best midfielder, Quagliarella best attacker, Zaniolo best young player. I have an issue with more than one of those awardees
