Cristiano Ronaldo trolled Atletico Madrid in the mixed zone after Juventus lost

Atletico Madrid 2 – Juventus 0

When Juventus signed Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid, the Bianconeri had one obvious objective.

Juve have won the Serie A title for the past seven seasons, and they are on course to win the Scudetto this season too.

But that’s no longer enough. Juventus want to win the Champions League, and that’s why Ronaldo has joined.

Yet, following Juve’s last-16 first leg tie against Atletico Madrid, the Italians are in big trouble.

Atletico beat Juve 2-0 on Wednesday night in Spain.

The Rojiblancos won the match with two goals in the final 12 minutes.

Centre-halves Jose Gimenez and Diego Godin were the unlikely match-winners as they found the target for Diego Simeone’s side.

Cristiano Ronaldo trolled Atletico Madrid in the mixed zone

So how did Cristiano Ronaldo take the defeat at Atletico Madrid?

Unsurprisingly, not very well.

A clip has gone viral from the mixed zone after the game.

As Cristiano Ronaldo walked past the reporters, the Juve star trolled Atletico Madrid.

Ronaldo noted that he’s won the Champions League five times, while Atletico have never won it.

Of course, Ronaldo stoked up old Real versus Atletico rivalries with his trolling comment.

Juanfran reacts to Cristiano Ronaldo

Atletico Madrid full-back Juanfran responded to Ronaldo’s comments.

Juanfran opted against trading insults as he told the press the following:

The comment of Cristiano, we do not feel bad about it. On the contrary, it is a reality that he has five Champions League (medals) and we have none. We hope to have someday some Champions League (success) and continue working with humility.
