Could Ronaldo be disciplined?
Cristiano Ronaldo is set for showdown talks with Juventus after his public spat with Maurizio Sarri over the past couple of weeks.
Ronaldo has been gripping headlines lately after his reactions to being substituted.
The latest disagreement was there for all to see when Ronaldo was replaced just 55 minutes into Juventus’ clash with AC Milan last Sunday.
Ronaldo was visibly disappointed, and gave Maurizio Sarri the eyes before walking straight down the tunnel.

The player who actually replaced Ronaldo, Paulo Dybala, won the game with just 13 minutes remaining.
Cristiano was also withdrawn early during the Champions League clash with Lokomotiv Moscow.
Now, Ronaldo is set for ‘showdown talks’ with Juventus over his recent behaviour.
Ronaldo set for showdown talks
According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, as cited by the Mirror, Ronaldo ‘will meet with club chiefs when he returns from international duty.’
It’s claimed that Ronaldo ‘will face questions from Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici and vice-chairman Pavel Nedved over his attitude.’
There is no mention of whether Ronaldo will face punishment or not, but you wouldn’t be surprised to see the Portuguese star sit the next game out.
Maurizio Sarri recently defended his decision to remove Ronaldo, claiming that he was trying to manage a knee problem the player was suffering from.
“He took a knock on the knee in training one month ago and it’s affecting him,” he explained, as quoted by the Mirror.
“When he trains with high intensity and plays matches, he feels some pain. He can’t train too hard and has difficulty when he kicks the ball.”
