Portugal keep their World Cup hopes alive
Leo Messi is in serious danger of not playing at the World Cup next summer.
Cristiano Ronaldo has played a significant role for Portugal in Andorra on Saturday evening to ensure the European champions have a great chance of reaching Russia 2018.
Portugal coach Fernando Santos started Ronaldo on the bench in Andorra on Saturday evening.
The reason being for this decision due to Ronaldo being one yellow card away from a suspension.

Group B in World Cup qualification comes down to Portugal v Switzerland in Lisbon.
Portugal are three points behind Switzerland but the hosts have a much superior goal difference.
As a result, a win for Portugal, any which way, ensures they finish top and qualify automatically for the World Cup.
