Cristiano Ronaldo’s transfer wish is coming true according to the Express, who claim the player asked Real Madrid to make a move for Mo Salah this summer, and that’s exactly what they plan on doing.
The La Liga side are willing to offer £156 million to Liverpool for Salah, and want him to replace Gareth Bale, who’s agreed to leave the club at the end of the season, and who looks more and more disillusioned with each passing day.
Bale has struggled at times in Spain – mainly because of injury and a relationship with Ronaldo that’s not thought to be the easiest at times, and it seems he’s now willing to cut his losses and head back to England, where there will be no shortage of clubs vying for his signature.
One player who will be gutted at that news is Eden Hazard, who has made no secret of the fact he fancies a move to Real Madrid, and now at 27-years-old, it seems his final chance is passing him by, with better younger players being out there and catching Real and Ronaldo’s eye.
Hazard may have no choice but to pen a new deal with Chelsea, especially if his current manager, Antonio Conte, rocks up at PSG, another club who could attract and afford Hazard – with the two clashing over Conte’s tactics at times this season and it seeming Conte’s job has become far harder at the club because of player power – yet another thing that Jose Mourinho and plenty of other former Chelsea managers experienced during their respective time at the club.
