Cristiano Ronaldo all but confirms Juventus future

Cristiano Ronaldo has this weekend confirmed his plans for next season, on the back of Juventus’ latest Serie A crown.

Juve crowned

Confirmation of the Bianconeri’s Italian top-flight triumph arrived last weekend.

Despite having endured a somewhat difficult campaign, a 2-0 victory over Sampdoria at the Allianz Stadium saw Maurizio Sarri’s men open up an unassailable lead over the rest of the chasing pack.

The actual ceremony which saw Juve lift the club’s staggering 9th-straight Serie A crown, however, only arrived last night.

After a sub-strength lineup was put to the sword by AS Roma, Bianconeri duo Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini lofted the trophy into the Turin sky, with celebrations having no doubt carried long into the night.

‘Go for my third’

On the back of their official crowning last night, meanwhile, a number of Juventus’ stars have since taken to social media, to post messages of celebration.

Aaron Ramsey, Gigi Buffon and more posted photos of themselves with the Serie A trophy, with the former having of course clinched his first-ever league title, on the back of his arrival from Arsenal last summer:

As outlined above, however, it was the social media message of one Juve star in particular which has since piqued widespread attention.

Cristiano Ronaldo opted for Instagram to celebrate the latest addition to his bulging trophy cabinet.

And, in the accompanying message alongside his photo, the Portuguese attacker all but confirmed that, despite an at times rocky season, he is set to remain at the Allianz Stadium for the 2020/21 campaign.

After preaching hard work to ‘achieve your goals’, Ronaldo assured that he intends to ‘go for his 3rd’ straight Serie A crown next time out:
