Coventry 1 – Swindon 3
One of the great English clubs, Coventry City, are heading for League Two.
Coventry are rock bottom of the third tier, and on Saturday they lost 3-1 at home to Swindon Town.
Back in January, the Sky Blues made headlines when they signed 34-year-old Yakubu.
Prior to arriving at the Ricoh Arena, Yakubu had scored 114 times in 293 league appearances in England, mostly in the top flight, at Portsmouth, Middlesbrough, Everton, Leicester City, Blackburn Rovers and Reading.
But that was a long time ago, and Coventry should have known that the Yak is way past his best.
Does nothing v Swindon
Proving that point, one Coventry fan has seen a video go viral over the weekend as he record Yakubu doing very little for over two minutes during Saturday’s defeat.
Watch the footage below.
Here's Yakubu not doing anything for 2 & 1/2 mins. He was the closest outfield player to Burge (our GK) during a City attack in this period pic.twitter.com/XxgoIiiRD8
