Confirmed: Real Madrid sign Luka Jovic
Real Madrid have completed their second signing of the summer (following Eder Militao’s arrival from Porto).
Eintracht Frankfurt have confirmed that they’ve sold striker Luka Jovic to Los Blancos.
Jovic will be unveiled at the Santiago Bernabeu once he completes his medical.
Eintracht further revealed that Jovic has signed a five-year deal with Real Madrid.
However, the Bundesliga side refused to reveal the sum of the transfer fee.
Eintracht sporting director Fredi Bobic on Jovic to Real Madrid
Eintracht sporting director Fredi Bobic provided the following quotes after the Jovic deal was confirmed:
Luka Jovic is a big loss for us. His explosiveness and scoring skills have spread throughout Europe and we’ve benefited from his goals over the past two years. But for us it was clear that there was a financial pain threshold.
For Eintracht Frankfurt this is a good and important transfer. We wish Luka only the best for his future. He has the best qualifications for a great career. And we are proud that we were able to support him along the way.
Vielen Dank für deinen Einsatz, Tormaschine! Alles Gude und viel Erfolg in Madrid! 🦅 pic.twitter.com/6wWSMeAGZZ

Eintracht Frankfurt have played an absolute blinder. Had the option to sign Luka Jovic for €8m, took it, then sold him to Real Madrid for around €70m.
