Rashford’s time in Manchester
Marcus Rashford is a product of Manchester United’s youth system.
The now 21-year-old was promoted to United’s senior side in January of 2016.
Rashford would be handed his Premier League debut vs Arsenal on the 28th of February, 2016.
The young forward hit the ground running, scoring two and assisting one as United beat the Gunners 3-2.
Rashford has since gone on to make a staggering 170 appearances for the Red Devils’ senior side.
Rashford signs new deal
Under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Rashford has earned a prominent role, and is now frequently played as a centre-forward.
The England international would score 13 and assist nine this past season.
Now, on Monday, Man United have announced that Rashford has put pen to paper on a new contract that will keep him at the club until 2023. There is also an option for an extra year.

On signing his new deal, Rashford stated:
“Manchester United has been everything in my life since I arrived here at the age of seven. This club has shaped me, both as a player and as a person, so it is such a privilege every time I get the opportunity to wear the shirt.
“I want to thank Ole and his staff for everything they have done for me; they are the perfect group of coaches to learn from as I continue my development and look to push on to the next level.
