Confirmed: Man United’s Jose Mourinho signs World Cup deal

Man United’s Jose Mourinho & 2018 World Cup

Jose Mourinho will be at the 2018 World Cup.

That’s been confirmed on Monday by Russian news outlet RT.

As confirmed on their website, RT have agreed a deal for Mourinho to appear on their TV channel this summer.

Mourinho has spoken about working for RT this summer, saying:

I am very happy to join the team at RT. I am looking forward to attending the World Cup in Russia this summer and sharing my insights into the games.

RT have also released a video after landing Mourinho. It also featured Man United’s legendary keeper Peter Schmeichel, who will also be an RT pundit this summer.

Crystal Palace vs Man United

Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United side travel to Selhurst Park on Monday evening. The hosts could jump out of the relegation zone and up into 13th place with a win against United.

Palace are 18th in the Premier League with ten games still left to play. The Eagles lost their last match 1-0 against Tottenham.

Palace were very poor and had just 23% possession throughout the match. If they play in a similar fashion on Monday night, the score could make ugly reading for Palace fans.

Man United have lost their last two Premier League away games, at Tottenham and Newcastle. The Newcastle game proved that clubs lower down in the table are still capable of beating the so-called “bigger clubs”.

United won the reverse fixture earlier in the season 4-0. A Marouane Fellaini brace was sandwiched in between goals from Juan Mata and Romelu Lukaku back in September.

Palace have won just 4 games at Selhurst Park this season with just one of them coming in 2018.

United have the joint third best away record in the Premier League and haven’t lost at Selhurst Park since 1991.

Ahead of kick off, United are 19 points behind rivals, Manchester City.
