Claudio Ranieri facing sack at Watford after just 14 games in charge

The next manager facing the sack in the Premier League looks to be Claudio Ranieri.
The Daily Mail are reporting that Watford have begun the process of identifying Claudio Ranieri’s successor with the Italian facing the sack following Friday’s home loss to Norwich.
It is added that sources close to Watford expect the former Leicester boss to lose his job following the embarrassing defeat, Â with the Hornets now actively seeking his replacement:

Claudio Ranieri’s Watford stint
Claudio Ranieri would take charge of Watford on October 4th 2021.
The Rome-native took over from Xisco Munoz, who had just got the Hornets promoted and had them sat 14th in the English top-flight at the time of his sacking.
However, Ranieri has since guided Watford down into the relegation zone. He has taken charge of 14 matches to date, winning just two, drawing one and losing 11 whilst averaging just 0.5 points per game.
As a result, Watford have now slipped into the relegation zone in the Premier League, with Norwich up to 17th.
Watford do have two games in hand on Norwich so they could still technically overtake them, but that seems very unlikely given their current form.
Watford’s next outing is against another relegation-threatened side, Burnley. After losing to Norwich and drawing with Newcastle recently, it is imperative Watford see off Burnley on February 5th.
