Christian Eriksen linked with Man United & a look at why Tottenham haven’t signed Giovani Lo Celso yet

Christian Eriksen could join Man United

What’s going on with Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen?

With a month left in the Premier League summer transfer window, will Eriksen still be a Spurs player in 2019-20?

Earlier in the summer, the Dane made it clear that he’s interested in leaving Tottenham.

Links duly popped up suggesting that Eriksen could join Real Madrid. However, in recent weeks, the story doing the rounds is that Real Madrid have other priorities in the transfer market.

On Monday, Danish paper BT have posted an update on Eriksen.

Recycling reports from Spain, BT note that Man United’s Paul Pogba is higher on Real Madrid’s wish-list than Eriksen.

Yet, Pogba’s possible move to Los Blancos could affect Eriksen. BT tell their readers:

If Manchester United sells Paul Pogba to Real Madrid, Christian Eriksen is considered the best possible replacement in the red part of the English city.

Why Tottenham haven’t signed Giovani Lo Celso yet

Local Spanish paper Diario de Sevilla have an update on Tottenham’s interest in Giovani Lo Celso on Monday.

Lo Celso is now on his summer vacation following his participation in the Copa America with Argentina.

Diario de Sevilla confirm that “Tottenham wants Giovani Lo Celso”, while also noting that the transfer is bubbling along in a “slow cooker”.

The problem with the deal is the transfer fee. Real Betis are looking to sell Lo Celso for 75 million euros, however Spurs are balking at that asking price.

The paper also detail why Lo Celso’s transfer fee is so high; because PSG are entitled to 20% of the sell-on fee if Lo Celso switches clubs.

In a final note, it’s claimed that Lo Celso could triple his wages if he moves to Tottenham.

Real Madrid’s Dani Ceballos

If Tottenham sign Lo Celso, could they sign Real Madrid’s Dani Ceballos too?

Diario de Sevilla say ‘yes’.

Readers are told that Tottenham are “also negotiating with Dani Ceballos, in two totally independent operations.”
