Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder has this afternoon provided a fitness update on his squad, ahead of their meeting with Arsenal.
Arsenal vs Sheffield United
The high-flying Blades are set for a trip to the Emirates on Saturday afternoon.
Wilder’s men will head into proceedings with their tails up, having bounced back from a tough stretch of results over the last couple of weeks.
After going winless in 3 straight outings between late December and early this month, Sheffield United have since put Fylde and West Ham to the sword.
Arsenal, meanwhile, saw their upturn in form halted by Crystal Palace last time out, with the Gunners having surrendered an early advantage to eventually stutter to a 1-1 draw at Selhurst Park.
Significantly, Mikel Arteta’s men were also dealt a blow on the personnel front in their latest outing.
Star hitman Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was given his marching orders at Selhurst, following a dangerous challenge on Palace’s Max Meyer.
And, following an unsuccessful appeal, it has since been confirmed that Auba is set to sit out a 3-match ban, beginning this weekend.
Arsenal’s appeal against the red card given to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang vs Crystal Palace has been rejected. He will now serve a three game ban.

In addition to Aubameyang, Arsenal have since also confirmed that Sead Kolasinac is set to miss out on Saturday afternoon.
As such, speaking in his pre-match press conference earlier today, Chris Wilder was asked for a fitness update on his squad.
It was all positive news from the Sheffield United boss, though, with Wilder having confirmed that he has a fully fit panel of players at his disposal for the Blades’ trip to the Emirates:
