Chelsea’s Mason Mount latest to heap praise on ‘world-class’ Hakim Ziyech
Chelsea see off Burnley
Chelsea welcomed Burnley to Stamford Bridge on Saturday, aiming to build on their European win in midweek.
The Blues smashed Russian outfit Krasnodar 4-0 on Tuesday, and were in similarly fine form against Sean Dyche’s side.
Hakim Ziyech fired Chelsea into the lead with 23 minutes on the clock, before Kurt Zouma headed home in the 63rd, to double the Londoners’ lead.
Timo Werner then put the result beyond doubt with 20 minutes to go, capping off a superb Chelsea display, and handing the Blues a 4th clean sheet in a row.
The result also moved Frank Lampard’s men up to 6th in the Premier League table, two points adrift of 2nd.

Mount praises Ziyech
The star of the Blues’ latest win was most certainly Hakim Ziyech.
The Moroccan, operating from his favoured right-wing position, ran the show against the Clarets.
With Ziyech now seemingly up to full fitness, Chelsea appear to have finally found the right set-up to get the best out of their host of attacking stars.
Following his stellar display vs Burnley, meanwhile, Ziyech has since received a number of plaudits from fans and players alike.
Frank Lampard was quick to praise the former Ajax standout post-Burnley.
And now, Mason Mount has followed suit in heaping praise on his new teammate:
“We know what he can do on the ball and what he brings to the team. “[He’s a] World-class player, obviously coming in and scoring the other night [against Krasnodar] and scoring on his Premier League debut. He’s a brilliant player.
“He’s a joy to play with, very clever on the ball, he brings a lot to the team. He’s a very good player.”
