Eden Hazard & Man United
Rumours are flying around on Monday morning that Chelsea star Eden Hazard is nursing an injury.
To be clear, Chelsea are yet to confirm that Hazard is significantly hurt.
Yet according to multiple sources, Hazard ended the Manchester United match last Saturday with a back problem.
It should be stressed that Hazard completed the 90 minutes against Jose Mourinho’s men.
Eden Hazard walked off on Saturday with a grimace and back pain. In an average Premier League game he gets fouled 2,6 times, in the last 4 games against United in London 5,5 times. #cfc pic.twitter.com/GbLshBqHwq

Was Hazard hurt before the Man United match?
The Telegraph lay the blame for Hazard’s back problem at Man United’s door. Readers are told:
The Belgium forward was hurt by rough fouls in the first half at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, with Nemanja Matic and Ashley Young both picking up yellow cards.
Hazard required treatment following a challenge from Young during the opening period and subsequently suffered pain in his back.
However that narrative is challenged on social media.
Was Hazard hurt even before the Man United game began?
Pretty certain Hazard was carrying an injury today. Noticed he was holding his lower back in the warm up, and then continued to throughout the match. Would explain his bang average performance. #CHEMUN pic.twitter.com/Xt7GIBVkq0

Chelsea vs BATE Borisov
The upshot of the Hazard injury report is that the Belgian is unlikely to play any part in Chelsea’s match against BATE Borisov on Thursday night in the Europa League.
Of course, Maurizio Sarri has been rotating his Chelsea side for European matches this season.
Next weekend Chelsea travel to Burnley in the Premier League.
