Chelsea hammered by Bayern
Chelsea had a rather disastrous evening on Tuesday.
The Blues played host to German giants FC Bayern Munich in the first of two Champions League round of 16 clashes.
Bayern did look favourites heading into the tie, but if Chelsea managed to limit the damage in the first-leg, who knows what could have happened at the Allianz Arena.
Chelsea managed to navigate the first 45 pretty well on Tuesday, with the score 0-0 at the interval.
However, Bayern’s quality shone through in the second-half, with proceedings drawing to a close at 3-0.
Given Chelsea would have to win at least 3-0 in the return leg, their 2019/20 Champions League run looks all but over.

Willian hints at Chelsea exit
To compound Chelsea’s misery, one of their key attackers has hinted that he could leave the club in the summer, as his contract talks appear to have stalled.
Willian has been on Chelsea’s books since 2013, and has racked up over 300 appearances for the club.
The Brazilian has also been a key figure this term, playing 34 times across all competitions.
However, Willian and Chelsea look to have reached an impasse over a new deal.
Willian’s current deal runs out in the summer, but talks do look to have been going on throughout the season.
However, in a recent interview, the 31-year-old claimed that Chelsea have offered him a two-year deal, but he wants three:
“Chelsea offered me two years, and they are not going to change what they offered.
“I said I wanted three more years. The situation is difficult because of this, I really don’t know if it will be possible.
“My goal is to continue working and focus on the rest of the season, so that Chelsea can continue winning games. I have a clear head and am focused.” As quoted by the Evening Standard.
