Chelsea & Aubameyang
It’s been a frustrating off-season for Chelsea in the transfer market when it’s come to signing a striker
The reigning Premier League have been proactive in shifting players out the Stamford Bridge door, with Tammy Abraham loan to Swansea, Dom Solanke sold to Liverpool and Diego Costa on his way back to Atletico Madrid.
But when it’s come to signings, Man United won the race for Romelu Lukaku, leaving the Blues empty handed.
In recent days, the Blues have been linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Last season he top scored in the Bundesliga with 31 goals in 31 games. In total, Auba has 85 goals from 125 appearances for BVB.
Drops transfer hint
Apart from Chelsea, AC Milan are also thought to be in the race for the 28-year-old Gabon centre-forward.
Indeed, it’s been claimed that Milan are ready to make Aubameyang the best paid player in Serie A.
In a possible blow for the Blues, Aubameyang has dropped a hint over the weekend he could be on his way to the San Siro, after he ‘liked’ a tweet from a Rossoneri fan calling for his to return to Milan.
Aubameyang joined Milan’s youth academy in 2007, however he never managed to break into the first team.
