Arsenal vs Chelsea
Next Saturday in the Premier League, one of the standout matches is Arsenal versus Chelsea.
Arsenal, who lost 1-0 at West Ham last weekend, are fifth in the league with 41 points.
The Gunners are only above Manchester United on goal difference.
Chelsea, meanwhile, are fourth in the table, six points clear of Arsenal.
Sokratis issues Gunners warning
Following the West Ham match, Arsenal’s Greek centre-half Sokratis Papastathopoulos issued a warning ahead of the Chelsea game.
According to Sokratis, Arsenal must beat the Blues if they hope to finish the season in the top four:
If we want to be in the top four we have to work together.
Chelsea is another game and we have to regroup — a lot — if we want to do something. It will be a difficult game but if we want to be up there, we have to win.
We did not play well [against West Ham]. All the team was not like the last games. We have to work, we have to look at what our mistakes were and improve for the next games.
Man United versus Arsenal
Will Man United finish above Arsenal this season?
Following United’s 1-0 win at Wembley against Tottenham, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men are only behind Unai Emery’s side on goal difference.
Many are now taking to social media to outline how United have closed the gap on Arsenal since Solskjaer’s arrival.
