Chelsea have seemingly identified the man that they want in the dugout next season, with Antonio Conte set to leave his post at the end of the season.
Reports in Italy today are claiming that the Italian will leave the London club at the end of the season after a torrid campaign.
With much expectation after last seasons showing, the Stamford Bridge side could simply not live up to the standards they set the year before.
Though, they fell even further than expected and could be set to finish 6th this season, with possibly Europa League football their best hope.
That has put immense pressure on Antonio Conte and reports over the past few months have indicated just how frustrated he is getting.
From the lack of flexibility in the transfer market to criticism of his tactics and more, it seems almost certain that he will leave the club at the end of the season.
Now, it’s time to start looking at the future and
That man comes in the form of former Barcelona boss Luis Enrique who has been without a job since leaving the Camp Nou.
Though, reports linking Enrique with the Chelsea job are starting to grow again after Thomas Tuchel agreed a deal with PSG.
Now, Tuttosport claim today that ‘The Blues are all about Luis Enrique’, alluding to the fact that he is their number one target.
Time will tell who will be managing Chelsea next season, but it’s looking increasingly likely that it will be Enrique.
